My name is Alice Fong and I am a licensed massage practitioner. I
graduated from the Cortiva Institute Brenneke School of Massage in
Seattle, Washington. I received vigorous professional training and use
a holistic approach to massage. I am client-centered and focus on the
needs of the whole person. I maintain a professional relationship with
my clients and ensure that they feel safe and comfortable. I am
nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork through the
NCBTMB, and I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
I use a variety of techniques and modalities based on the client's
needs. Those include Swedish, deep tissue, sports, neuromuscular
release (i.e. trigger point work), myofascial, pregnancy, and energy
work. I have worked in a chiropractor's office and have done treatment
work on certain conditions such as whip-lash, carpal tunnel syndrome,
tendinitis, sore and stiff muscles, and general pain.
I am also a member of the Washington Sports Massage Team (WSMT) and
enjoy working on several types of athletes. The WSMT goes to various
athletic events throughout the state of Washington to give the highest
quality sport-specific massage to participants.
In addition, I'm a trained birth doula. If you are an expecting
mother or know someone who is, please ask about my doula services (at
free or very low cost for now). You might also like to try my pregnancy
massage (same price as a regular massage) to help relieve back aches
and discomfort.
I have a private practice in the Shoreline and Seattle area. My office is located at Stone Turtle Health at 6204B 8th Ave NW in Seattle, but I also do on-site massage. I am client centered and provide a relaxing wellness experience in a safe and professional environment. All clients receive $20 off their first massage.
