A graduate of the 1982 class, Sherry became the director of The Humanities Center when she purchased it from the original owner in 1983. She has spent over 40 years in education, serving as a teacher, counselor, special needs coordinator, curriculum consultant and developer, and writer of professional articles and texts. She taught both hands-on and lecture classes at the school from 1983 to 2005, and shared director responsibilities with her son, Greg, for 16+ years. She was also fortunate to have her son, Scott, serve as the anatomy instructor and media/technology developer for 10+ years. During her tenure, the school became the first massage school in Florida to attain national accreditation (and the second in the U.S.). She proudly trained several thousand graduates who are touching the lives and spirits of thousands of clients across the country. She is available for consultations, editing of books, and guidance through various aspects of professional massage practice.
