At Cortiva, we care about every aspect of the whole student. While students
arrive ready to meet the challenges of our educational training programs,
the support each student gives to each other and the support the school
can offer are critical to the success of each learner. Together with our
students, we have a community rich with support.
Our student services include the following:
Student Resource Office
The administrative staff is available during regularly scheduled office
hours for consultation regarding school policies, curriculum, career planning
and community resources. Other staff and faculty members are also available
during regularly scheduled hours for administrative and academic advisement.
Tutors
Tutors and study sessions are available for all Anatomy & Physiology training
courses.
Academic Advising & Career Guidance
Academic advising and career guidance is offered through our Registration
and Placement offices. The Dean of Students can arrange tutoring and discuss
learning challenges with students.
Library
The library checkout is available through the front desk and is accessible
during business office hours. The collection consists of a reference section
of books which may be used within the school grounds, a circulating reference
section of books and video cassettes which are available for three-day
checkout period, a lending section of books and audio cassette workshops
which are available for a two-week checkout, vertical file articles, pamphlets,
newspaper clippings, etc., on select subjects pertinent to the curriculum
and current appropriate periodicals for on-site use, as well as back issues
for student research.
Student Records
Student records for all students are maintained in the administrative
office.

Housing
Notices regarding rentals and shared housing are placed on the student
bulletin board.
