  • In November 2005 the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts joined the Cortiva Institute family of massage schools and changed its name to Cortiva Institute – Tucson in 2007.
  • The school was first licensed in 1982 by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education, and granted its first accreditation approval in 1987 by the Accrediting Commission for Colleges and Schools (ACCSC). Since then, the school has continuously maintained licensure and accreditation.

We are proud to bring our Tucson heritage to the Cortiva family of massage therapy schools. Together we have grown, embracing the changing needs of our students, employers, community, and the profession.

Over 2,500 students have graduated from the Tucson campus since our beginning in 1982, and they proudly represent the massage therapy and bodywork profession around the world.
