Cortiva Institute – Tucson (formerly Desert Institute of the Healing Arts) has been licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education since September 1982. We also hold a contract with the Vocational Rehabilitation Service, and are an eligible Training Provider under the Workforce Investment Act.

Your Massage Therapy License

Licensing requirements for massage therapists vary state by state. Students graduating from schools that are both Arizona State licensed and accredited by a US Department of Education recognized accrediting body (ACCSC) do not have to take the state licensing exam. Cortiva Institute – Tucson meets these requirements and our graduates are exempt from taking the Arizona licensing exam.
