Cortiva Institute - Somerset School of Massage Therapy, our massage school in NJ, operates a main
campus in Wall Township, NJ.
Wall Township Campus
The Wall Township Campus is easily accessible from
the Garden State Highway (exit 98), Route 195, Route 18 and Route 70 and
is only 3 miles from the beautiful beaches of the Jersey Shore. This facility
is 6,600 square feet and houses three classrooms, student lounge, student
clinic, professional clinic, a retail store and is handicap accessible.
The facility also has an outdoor, grassy area with picnic tables and benches.
Both locations provide sufficient massage tables so that each student
has a table for practice sessions. Lessons are enhanced with a number
of anatomical wall charts, life size skeletons, Manikins™, anatomical
slides and overheads, a library of more than 200 volumes and an extensive
video library.
Library: The school has a library of books and videos. We encourage all
students to use the library whenever possible in order to enhance the
training received in class, and gain exposure to different techniques
and methods of instruction. The library is currently located at the Piscataway
campus. A list of library items is located in the student lounge on both
campuses.
Student Lounge: Eating and drinking is confined to the student lounge,
with exception of water, which may be consumed in the classrooms. We have
vending machines with snacks and beverages, and you are welcome to bring
in your own food. There is a microwave and refrigerator for your convenience.
The lounge is your area. Please keep it neat and clean.
