The following support services are available to Cortiva Institute - Seattle
students:
Learning Strategies
Cortiva uses the TIPP Learning System, an on-line learning style assessment
that provides students with insights into their personal learning process
and practical strategies in order to help them maximize their efforts.
Students are required to take the TIPP Assessment as part of the learning
lab module.
Liability Insurance
All students are covered by Cortiva Institute - Seattle's policy with
Practice Liability Insurance for the duration of their enrollment. To
qualify, students must regularly attend classes and comply with school
policies. Students on sabbatical are not covered.
Library
Our multi-media library contains massage and bodywork references to support
classroom materials, featuring a variety of learning aids including: books,
articles, CDROMS, internet access, videotapes of Kinesiology instruction
and massage procedures, audio tapes of anatomy and physiology lectures,
medical models, and human skeletons. Additionally, Bastyr University library
is available to the public for a fee of $25 per year.
Tutoring
Tutoring services are available to all students. Fees vary depending on
the size of the group. A list of available tutors and fees is posted in
the student mailroom.
