Here is an overview of what qualifying students may be eligible for:
Federal Pell Grant
Up to $4310; does not have to be repaid, based on federal "need" formula
(results from FAFSA).
Federal SEOG (Supplemental Education Opportunity
Grant)
Up to $4000 (depending on availability at the school); does not have to
be repaid.
Federal Subsidized Student
Loans
A low interest loan based on need, government pays interest while student
is enrolled "at least half time status" - 6 months grace period before
payments start after student graduates, withdraws or becomes a less than
half-time student - interest free if paid off within the 6 months grace
period; Ten year standard repayment plan - $3500 first year student.
Federal Unsubsidized Student
Loan
Low interest loan for Independent students, interest accrues while student
is in school - same repayment plan as above; $4000 for first year students.
Federal PLUS (Parental Loan
for Undergraduate Students)
Low interest loan; amount can be up to the Cost of Attendance.

sources can be used to help students develop a complete tuition payment
