Tuition Funding Sources
An education is one of the most important investments in your career!
And a Massage School education is an investment that can change your life.
We understand that you probably have questions and would appreciate the
help in developing a personalized financial plan for tuition. This is
a brief description of some of the more common sources of tuition funding
that may be available for those who qualify. A combination of sources
can be used to help students develop a complete tuition payment plan.
Students will be awarded financial aid based on their individual eligibility.
The financial aid representative can help you with applications and questions.

Scholarships, Grants and Gift Aid
Federal Grants
Pell and FSEOG need based grants calculated on government and institutional
financial "need" formulas. Grants do not have to be repaid. Awards range
based on applicant's eligibility from $0-$4,731 per academic year.
Cortiva Institute Scholarships
Two scholarship programs are offered by Cortiva to help students with
their tuition investment.
- Cortiva Institute Founders Scholarships $2000
- Cortiva Institute & Massage Magazine Scholarships $500
Awards are based on the applicant's interview and essay describing why
they have chosen this field. See your Admissions Representative or Financial
Aid officer for an application and details.

Some employers will reimburse students for a portion of tuition costs.

Federal and Private Loans
Stafford Federal Subsidized Student Loan
A low interest loan awarded based on need. No interest or payments while
in-school and for 6 months after (grace period). No credit check. Loans
can range from $0-$3,500, per academic year, based on eligibility.
Stafford Federal Unsubsidized Student Loan
A low interest loan, NOT awarded on the basis of need, in which interest
accrues immediately but payments that can be deferred until 6-months after
graduation. No credit check. Loans can range from $0-$6,000 (independent
student), $0-$2,000 (dependent student), per academic year, based on
eligibility.
Parent Loans
A low-fixed interest loan available to parents of students for Tuition,
Books, Fees, Living Expenses, etc. Credit check required. Co-signer may
be used.
Sallie Mae
"Career Training Loan" Available to cover Tuition, Books, Fees, etc. Interest
rates vary based on credit history. Co-signer may be required.

Payment Plans
A student payment plan option is provided for students who have balances
remaining after all other financial aid options have been pursued. Break
down your remaining balance into interest - free monthly payments over
the length of your program.

Documents that will be helpful:
- Your Social Security Number.
- Your Driver's License (if any).
- Your W-2 Forms and other records of money earned.
- Your (and your spouse's, if you are married) Federal Income Tax Return
form 1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ, foreign tax return, or tax return for Puerto
Rico, Guam, Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Marshall Islands, or the
Federated States of Palau.
- Your parents' Federal Income Tax Return (if you are a dependent student).
- Your untaxed income records: Social Security, Temporary Assistance to
Families, welfare, or veteran's benefits records.
- Your alien registration number or permanent residence card (if you are
not a U.S. citizen).
