Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology

Massage Therapy Theory and Technique
Through hands-on work, you'll learn a repertoire of technique movements
and various elements including rhythms, speeds, pressures, transition
and treatment construction. You'll learn the skills necessary to create
a massage therapy treatment for a specific person including tension assessment,
treatment planning, element variation and integration. As you progress
into advanced technique, you will also learn to include your own style
and intuition. Incorporated throughout is an emphasis on practicing effective
and safe movement habits.
Professional Development and Communication
This coursework rounds out your comprehensive educational experience with
business and communication skills necessary to succeed as a professional
massage therapist. With faculty guidance, you'll define your goals and
target markets for a successful practice. Of course, it goes beyond just
lectures and discussions. With exercises in goal setting, writing a resume,
creating a business plan, marketing, advertising, and self-management
