$350 if paid by 9/1/2010, $400 therefore.
The Anatomy Trains workshop, developed by Tom Myers, is a revolutionary re-vision
of musculo-skeletal anatomy in terms of functionally connected lines of myofascia.
The workshop gives a new perspective and a new way to assess clients' posture and
movement. All 12 myofascial meridians are described, built onto the skeleton, palpated,
stretched, and used in postural assessment, with many illustrations and examples.
Through life, injury or attitude these meridians create postural imbalance, restriction
or strain patterns that lead to myofascial pain. In this workshop you will learn
visual assessment using the Anatomy Trains system, and fascial plane and myofascial
release techniques from the KMI Structural Integration and movement education 'library'.
As a result you will be able to construct a bodywork session appropriate for the
specific pattern of each client. (Continuing Education credits are provided through
Kinesis NCTMB provider #53663-00).
Prerequisites: Graduate from 500-hour massage program.
Please Bring: Set of sheets; oil-free lotion; writing
materials; wear 2-piece swimsuit or sports shorts.

therapy since 1999 and Tom Myer's Kinesis Myofascial Integration since 2003. In

a history of Martial Arts, and a family of five, Eli is effectively able to weave
complex scientific theories into the constant movement and humanity of life. He

our minds, and our experience of life itself."

Register Now
Sunday, December 12, 2010 / 9:00am - 5:00pm / 7 CE Contact Hours / $160
"One of the great things about CST is that it is non-invasive and works
with the body's natural ability to heal itself". Part II builds on the
content and techniques of the first class by continuing to explore the
craniosacral system and by learning additional techniques. We will review
anatomy as it pertains to the CST system, discuss contraindications and
take a look at why these techniques are helpful and how to perform them.
In this segment, students will explore new techniques with a quick review
of CST I. You will be able to incorporate these techniques into your massage
sessions or use them separately. Return to your practice with new, easy-on-your-hands
skills, and an excellent background for further craniosacral training.
Please Bring: Set of sheets, hand towel,
face cradle cover, 2 standard pillows with case, blanket and paper & pen
