Below is a listing of complementary services designed to take away your
hiring headaches:
Job Fairs
Job Fairs are designed to give employers maximum exposure to students
and graduates. Student and graduate attendance is usually high due to
the variety of employers represented. Job Fairs may have anywhere from
five to 25 employers, and usually include an "open house" segment where
all employers display their company information and meet graduates in
an expo-type setting. In addition, employers may schedule a 30-minute
information session where they can highlight their opportunities with
a captive audience. Employers are also invited to conduct verbal and practical
interviews on campus following the "open house" event.
Customized Employer Events
Individual companies can schedule a Customized Employer Event at any time
with any Cortiva campus. Customized Events provide the employer with one-on-one
support from the Career Services department, including:
- Marketing of the event
- Pre-event submission of resumes & cover letters
- All interview scheduling
- All logistics for the event, including space and equipment for practical
interviews
- Out-of-state employers can also take advantage of assistance with travel
plans and accommodations
Employers also enjoy the freedom of scheduling Customized Events at their
convenience, rather than only during annual Job Fairs. This also ensures
an audience of candidates who are specifically interested in your company.
National Job Portal
The National Job Portal allows employers to post a classified listing
on the Cortiva website. The Job Portal is accessed by thousands of students
and graduates, and is usually the first place our graduates look to find
the most exciting, new opportunities. Employers can post a listing online
or by contacting any Cortiva campus.
Pre-screening
At the request of an employer, Career Services may be able to collect
resumes and pre-screen candidates. All the employer has to do is provide
a clear list of desired qualifications and we will do the rest. Career
Services will then forward candidates with the desired qualities to the
employer, ensuring that your valuable time is spent with therapists who
are most likely to meet your needs.
