Cortiva Institute – Boston's legacy began in the 1970s as Muscular Therapy Institute, founded by Ben Benjamin, Ph.D. in Cambridge, MA. After offering over 30 years of educational excellence in Cambridge and gaining national renown, the school moved to its Watertown campus, was purchased by Cortiva Institute in 2005, and was renamed Cortiva Institute – Boston in 2007.

Today, Cortiva Institute – Boston offers its 750 hour Professional Massage Therapy Program in a suburban neighborhood environment, occupying a restored building that offers a noteworthy atmosphere of historic charm and warmth. Cortiva Institute – Boston proudly graduates highly skilled, knowledgeable massage therapists who are the graduates-of-choice for many area employers.
