Karen graduated from the Cortiva Institute - Muscular Therapy Institute in 2007.
She provides a safe, relaxing environment in which clients can receive individualized treatments. A treatment with Karen may include a blend of bodywork techniques including Muscular Therapy, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, and Reiki.
Karen became interested in massage after receiving her first treatment near the Costa Rican hot springs about 10 years ago. After feeling the calming effects on both mind and body, she was hooked!
Having personally felt the relief that massage brings to areas of tension and pain caused by years of computer work, sports, and other activities, she looks forward to bringing the therapeutic benefits of massage to all of her clients.
Karen is an American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) member and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB).
