Hi!
I currently am in practice at The Total Wellness Centre of Yardley (PA), a chiropractic/rehab/massage therapy practice. In addition to graduating from PSMT, I am a CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger Institute, CST I and II) and Usui Reiki Master. I've also taken a course in massage for cancer patients and those with life-threatening illnesses, a mission close to my heart as a long-time cancer survivor. In May 2008, I will receive training in manual lymph drainage techniques.
In addition, I am a Professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
I find a multi-faceted approach works well to help clients. For example, the fascial release techniques of CranioSacral Therapy are beneficial for those experiencing chronic pain, trauma from accidents or surgery or sports-related injuries. Or I may use gentle massage and Reiki to ease the burden of a client undergoing chemotherapy. Each client I see has unique needs and issues, so they receive a therapeutic session specifically customized to their needs.
