The role of a certified athletic trainer is to assess injuries and chronic pain complaints, treat the condition using a wide variety of modalities, and return the individual to full activity via a focused rehabilitation process.

As a massage therapist, I'm able to fully integrate an essential modality, soft tissue therapy into this process, and I believe I'm both a better athletic trainer and massage therapist with this dual perspective.
